mothers day...

My first mother's day as a mom was a great day. I think as moms we work so hard doing life's daily duties that we can sometimes feel exhausted and unappreciated. I think this day came at the perfect time because I really needed some affirmation, life's been a little too demanding for me as a working mom.
Anyway, Finn and Chase made a delicious breakfast and bought me flowers, it was a nice relaxing Sunday morning. My husband wrote me the sweetest love note in the card, I'm so glad he's mine : )This day was also special because Finn was dedicated at church. The experience was truly something amazing for Chase and I, words cannot describe. We have really found a home at Eastlake Community and have made some very valuable friendships.
We were thankful both our families were able to witness the event as well as our very dear friends the Stewarts and the Kings.
After church we had lunch with the Lindquist fam, and then dinner with the Nichols fam. I am very thankful we live so close to both our families, they support us so much and spoil Finn rotten.

In the end mother's day seemed like such a long day, but in a good way. I felt rejuvenated and joyful to continue with my job as mommy. I am so proud of both Finn and Chase, and am very thankful for them.
