12 things...

This has been an ... Intricate week in life of Finn's mom.
I love change and I love the fall. So when the weather turns colder I start nesting in our home with new recipes and getting rid of old junk.
I think I thrive off of this.
SO Finn is walking now and I think he is taller too since he can reach onto so many surfaces where I hide things from his little reach. As I type he is sitting on the floor next to me trying to rip and bite the buttons off of a jacket I plan on taking to the Salvation Army later this afternoon. Oh never mind, he's now dragging the jacket down the hall...
Here are just some little highlights off the top of my head that have made this a "memorable" week for me as I've been trying to start and finish projects but have been distracted because;
1). Finn has discovered how to knock over the diaper genie, open the lid, shove his hand in it and pull out his dirty diapers...
2). It is now almost impossible to change Finn's diaper. He immediately crawls away completely naked and twists and turns so you cant get it on.
3). Chase's arm has healed enough that he can take care of Finn without me, YAHOO!
4). Finn broke a glass candle holder that we bought in Mexico and tried to eat the glass, he did manage to swallow some of the candle.
5). Finn can climb onto and off of the couch all by himself.
6). Finn turns on and off the TV.
7). He plays quietly in his room all by himself for 20 minuets at a time.
8). He is FINALLY starting to wave and dance when we "coach" him.
9). He made a complete mess of a friends dogs water bowl and some magnets. He was head to toe soaking wet.
10). He LOVES the toilet, and unraveling the toilet paper.
11). Finn will go into a room and shut the door.
12). And finally; Finn pulled off his pants, ripped off his diaper, ate his own poop and smeared it all over the carpet in his room and his Binky and his toys and the hallway, and his face and his hair.
Never EVER a dull moment in our house...

  1. Wow. #12 is intense. Yikes. I love every phase our kids go through, except for the poop!
