in the kitchen...

Lately Finn has been getting into EVERYTHING... And wanting to be where I am all of the time. He follows me as I walk to each room of the house, I think this is from me being gone for two weeks. It's actually pretty funny, he usually brings along a toy or two; rolling it ahead of him as he crawls, or holding it in his mouth. And when he gets to the place I am he just plays until I walk into another room, he gathers his toys and follows.

He's standing so much now, and has recently discovered how to open the drawers and cupboards in the kitchen.

As mischievous as he is, Chase and I love to see how it's more like he's a little member of our family instead of the "baby" that stays in one spot and cries when he wants something. Now when Finn wants something, he just helps himself. So now we are trying to learn how to effectively communicate, "leave it, no touch, uh oh, hot hot, NO". I admit it's not easy, but man when I as mom give him the "Don't-even-think-about-it-for-one-second-mister-eyes" he seems to catch my drift.

This guys cracks me up daily, it's amazing how much of a little man he is. He giggles by himself when something amuses him, he dances when he likes a certain song, if you're not paying attention to him he'll tilt his head like a puppy at you. He has growling matches with Chase, he says momma and dadda (momma when he's upset, dadda when he's happy), he LOVES the toilet, and plays chase until he's laughing so hard he lays face down cracking up. He loves to climb and be outside.

Since Chase's arm is still very broken so I've been once again praying for super human strength to do everything for both of my guys.
