To break up the monotony of another weekend without Chase, Finn and I took a little road trip to my old stomping grounds of Oregon. We spent two wonderful days with our dear friends Aaron & Jolene, and their four gorgeous kids; Ryan, Tyler, Anna, & Aiden. I really enjoyed this quality time with my friends, I already miss them... (Jolene, next time I really am going to rob the cupcake shop)!
Finn could not have been more excited to have playmates. He kept up with the big kids and was gentle with baby Aiden. And of course loved all of their toys, especially Anna's doll house... We also got to break bread with Josh & Jessi, whom I don't get to see enough of! I am thankful for all of the laughs (and tears) shared you guys!
Sunday afternoon we drove from Newberg to Salem for a visit with Uncle Cam & Auntie Jincy! Finn loved chasing their 3 kitties and blocking puppy Macy's licks. Since the weather has been AMAZING we went to the park.
It was all we could do to keep Finn out of the water...

We didn't quite make it to all of the destinations intended, but enjoyed our trip just the same. Only a week and a half until Chase gets home, YAY!
