feed the birds...

We had a little rest yesterday in preparation for Chase's Tough Guy UK challenge he is currently racing in right now. 

Before supper we took a walk to feed the ducks along the canal. 

Unfortunately the majority of the ducks in Chester seemed to be dining somewhere else  so it wasn't very exciting, but so nice to get some fresh air.

Often we see elderly people feeding the birds of Chester (wish nostalgically reminds me of Mary Poppins), Finn loves watching them flock around the bags of bread. I think he enjoys the actual throwing of the bread into the canal more though : )

Not too many birds to feed tonight, but plenty of canal boats to watch float by..
