Finn and I have continued in efforts to keep ourselves as busy as possible while we have one more week until Chase gets home. We are so thankful to all of our friends who have shared meals with us and kept Finn very busy. Also we celebrated my birthday this week, and I am so grateful to my friends and family who loved on me since Chase wasn't able to.
Here is the balloon man himself; above is Finni sleepily walking back to the car after partying hard at Estelle's 1st birthday. Below is Finni, 2 days later still carrying around his balloon and another one in tow courtesy of Nordstrom's.
Finn and I take daily pictures with my phone and email them to Chase so he can see what we're up to during the day.
Here are a few of us just being our silly selves!
Last Friday my family celebrated my birthday Lindquist-style with dinner and yummy cupcakes made by my mama. Above is little Finn testing out the cupcakes hours before dinner. "Cupcakes" was also Finn's favorite word last week!
Finni helped sing me happy birthday, blew out my birthday candle, and ate the whole cupcake all by himself.
And then he ran around like a crazy person for a couple of hours.

On Saturday morning I was treated to a fabulous birthday breakfast at the Portage Bay Cafe with my very dear friend.
After and afternoon surprise visit from my best-ie who flew in from out of state, and a night on the town, I had an impossible time getting Finn out of the bath in time for church Sunday morning. Here he is silently protesting getting dressed.
After church we had brunch with a few from the Nichols clan and Finn had fun sitting next to cousin Addie.
Monday night we headed down to spend the evening with our friends the Merten's. It was such a beautiful day so we played out side until dinner time. Above is Finni drinking apple juice out of a shot glass, the perfect size glass for his little self. Below is Finn and his KJ all snuggled up-how stinkin' cute is she???
And of course he immediately fell asleep with in 10 minuets of driving home. Only 1 more week until hubby is home!
We are SO SO excited!
