beeston castle...

On Sunday we ventured to the ruins of Beeston Castle. One thousand years ago when it was originally built, castles were generally used a fortresses of war, it wasn't until years later people built them to live in. It was nice to be out in the fresh air hiking around the grounds and taking in the beautiful view from the top of the castle, which is built into the cliff side.

Finnigin finally fits into his matching sweatshirt with Chase, courtesy of my brother and American Apparel.

This week we are celebrating "birthday week" for Finnigin, who is turning 2 on Friday!
